Observing urban landscapes and airborne pollen, I reflected on the layered images formed by shifting light. Using light and shadow, I captured how pollen’s shadows changed with the sun’s movement. I explored how slight variations in the depth of flat sculptures could create distinct outlines through illumination, examining their adaptability and dynamic interaction with light and space.
It was selected for the 3rd Open Call Project at Jungganjijeom, and held an exhibition titled 
Negative Platform, Seoul in 2022.

Experiencing my father’s death made me think about how death can heighten the awareness of life. Reading a paper about how the discovery of X-rays spread the belief in the existence of invisible realities sparked my interest in such unseen phenomena. It made me realize that negative space in sculpture helps highlight and define the positive space more clearly.
I was selected for the 3rd Open Call Project at Jungganjijeom in Seoul, and held an exhibition titled Negative Platform in 2022.
